chipper Our team advanced in the CHI 2007 Student Design Competition! Only 12 teams out of the 54 that submitted made it. SI (School of Information at U of M) actually sent 3 teams this year, which means a quarter of qualifiers were from my program (probably looking at others like MIT and CMU). We get to hang out with the HCI bigwigs in San Jose and have our project published. Pretty exciting stuff, especially for a team of first year students. Time to update our webpage on the project from last semester.
A more comprehensive entry covering the past couple months will be posted once I finish it.

Indiana sends 5 teams
Looks like its mostly a Big Ten competition. Indiana University's School of Informatics is sending five teams to the competition this year.Congratulations!
